"Job Action Project"

In August, the number of participants in the project was twelve young people, meaning there are still three places vacant.

We said goodbye to three participants. One dropped out due to starting a language course/language school, and two dropped out due to health reasons. However, we welcomed four new participants.

After the initial interviews, safety briefings took place and the young people were introduced to the project.

In August, our work focused on maintaining green spaces. Since the kindergartens and schools were still on summer break, hedges were trimmed and lawns mowed.

Additional benches were picked up from the Ritten kindergarten, sanded, filled, and given two coats of varnish. Benches and loungers were also made.

As part of the socio-educational support, final and initial interviews, as well as a situation analysis, took place with the new participants. As part of the support planning, the agreed objectives were reviewed, updated, and new ones established.

Situation-specific individual consultations with participants, needs-oriented in cooperation with the Youth Welfare Office, Job Center supervisors, Social Welfare Office and other network partners were carried out.

We welcomed six new participants to the project between June and July. At the Ritten kindergarten, additional outdoor benches were refurbished in the workshop.
The team also renovated the "Dwarf House" (a wooden playhouse) on site. First, all the wooden elements were sanded, the roof was given a red coat, and the remaining wooden elements were painted clear.

Another focus of work was the construction of the bicycle shelter. For this, the ground was leveled, the metal frame was concreted into the ground, the curbs were installed, and the gravel was spread. The paving work was completed in July, and the overhang is now complete. The team sanded down and painted the outdoor mud kitchen, and the stovetops were rebuilt and integrated into the kitchen. The project was handed over to the kindergarten in July.

Inside, the first benches in the children's cloakroom were dismantled and sanded in our workshop. After repainting, they will be delivered back to the kindergarten.

Kindergarten Louhans:

For the fence in the area of the green seating circle, the posts were set and the fence elements were attached.

As part of the socio-educational support, the initial interviews with the new participants and the definition of the first target agreements took place within the framework of the support planning.

On June 5, 2025, we conducted an in-depth training session on labor law. The focus was on conveying the rights and responsibilities of apprenticeships and the basics of labor law—deadlines, vacation entitlements, and part-time and full-time employment.
Another social-educational session took place on June 11, 2025. We took all participants on a city tour of Rockenhausen to familiarize themselves with the most important facilities, such as the job center, the municipal administration, the hospital, and counseling centers. Following this, we visited the Falkenstein Castle ruins.

This year, we once again participated in the Kaiserslautern Training Fair at Betzenberg. Participants once again had the opportunity to connect with many potential employers.
